Long Haired Dachshund Open Dog (1) 1^st.  Walker’s   Owlery Sparticus with Petwalk. 3yrs. Presented in good fettle. Loved his head and expression. Good spring of rib with well placed shoulder. Strong and well muscled hindquarters. Good picture of strength and balance. Moved soundly and with purpose. Handled well to BoB & G 3.

Whippet Puppy (3,1) 1^st: Huelin’s  Recall Blue Bell. 7mth. Attractively marked dog.  Correct head – long and lean, good mouth, correct ears. Body developing along correct lines, with well filled-in front and plenty of brisket for his age. Strong hindquarters with good muscular development for his age. Moved soundly. Suspect he will have a great future in the show ring. Handled well to BPiB & Puppy G2   2^nd: Lawson’s Silver Starbow Eclipse At Kipiriking. Handsome dog of 11 months. Typical head and expression, good front, correct depth of brisket, good hindquarters. Did not move as well as 1^st.

Basset Griffon Griffon Vendeen (Petit) Open Dog (1)  1^st: Marett’s  Limier Didier At Gayteckels. 18mths. Well knit and upstanding dog in good coat and condition. Correct head and skull – good length with strong underjaw. Well boned, with sturdy body, and strong and muscular hindquarters. Good topline and tail carriage. Moved and handled well to BoB.

Otterhound Limit (1)  1^st: Scott’s   Teckelgarth Faith. 19mth. Striking bitch in lovely coat and condition, nothing exaggerated, powerful in outline. Correct head and expression, strong muzzle, good ears. Straight well-boned front, correct rib and body, strong and well developed hindquarters. Moved soundly and handled well to BoB.

Afghan Hound Open Dog (1) 1^st:  Hannigan’s  Jsy CH Jangels Just A Gigolo. 4yrs. Quality black in lovely condition, typical head and expression, long neck leading to well placed shoulder and correctly constructed front, ample brisket, level topline, well bodied, good fallaway and ring tail, moved well with reach and drive. A little lack-lustre in the challenge, but handled well to BoB.

Dachshund (Min Long Haired) Puppy (3,2) 1^st: Cottrell’s Woodflame Courageous Colin. 11mth. B/T. Evenly maturing with a good head and expression, strong neck and body. Good coat, deep tan. Moved ok. Promising, but needs some ring practice. BoB, BPiB, PG3.

Pharaoh Hound Puppy (1) 1^st: Walker’s Islephar Isesu for Petwalk. 9 mths. Loved her overall type & quality, beautiful head & expression, large well set fine ears, correct straight front. Well angulated front and rear, very sound with excellent movement. However, she needs to settle when standing as she is easily distracted. Still has a lot of maturing to do, but time is on her side. Handled well to BPiB, BoB, G4, PG1.

Greyhound Puppy (1) 1^st: Louro’s  Ransley Simply Magic.  7mth. A very attractive and well constructed bitch, which I think will do well in future. Unfortunately, I was unable to assess her movement as she was determined not to budge!  BoB & BPiB.

Irish Wolfhound Open Dog (1)  1^st: Damboise & Deluet’s Amede Loup Des Coeurs De Lune. 6yrs.  Wow! Very commanding in appearance, excellent type and conformation. Expression melted my heart.  Gun barrel front, with plenty of depth and width, well developed body with correct proportions. Well muscled hindquarters. Movement was sound and balanced. Handled well to BoB, RCC & G2.

Open Bitch (1) 1^st: Damboise & Deluet’s  Duchinka Volk Des Coeurs De Lune. 3yrs. Impressed by her great range and soundness when on the move. Classic, quality bitch with ample bone and substance. Good in all departments.

AV VETERAN (3,1)  1^st: Officer’s  Whippet -  Eeri Autumn Leaves. 7yrs. She was in outstanding condition for her age. Good head and expression, plenty of brisket, well muscled hindquarters. Sound movement, handled well. 2^nd:   Goodall’s  Gayteckels Seaexpectation At Renlott Pd'H.

Bull Terrier Open Dog (3,1) 1^st: Steel’s Bullyview Poetry Emotion. 6yrs. Handsome and upstanding white dog in hard condition. Strong and well filled head, decent profile, good expression. Excellent front. Well bodied, well muscled hindquarters. Moved soundly with drive and purpose. Handled well to BoB & G3.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Open Dog (3,1) 1^st:  Fletcher & Seedhouse’s Granitangel Zircon. 3yrs. Compact and well knit brindle dog in good hard fettle – correct blend of bull and terrier with no exaggerations.  Well shaped head with typical expression, good strength of muzzle. Correctly constructed front with plenty of bone. Good depth of brisket and well sprung rib. Well developed and well muscled hindquarters.  A lovely dog to go over. Good angulations front and rear. Moved and handled well to BoB & G2.    2^nd: Mourdant’s Dennis The Menace. 3yrs. Attractive brindle and white pied in fit condition. Good head and expression. Correct front. Well bodied with plenty of brisket and bone. Level topline, held when on the move. Strong and well defined hindquarters. Moved soundly and handled well.

Scottish Terrier Puppy (2)  1^st:  Laffoley & Edwards’ Yeloffal For the Boyz. 9 mths. Delightful girl, presented in excellent coat & fettle but would benefit from better presentation. Stood foursquare, balanced head with a strong muzzle, good eye, nice neck & shoulders, strong legs & well padded feet. Enough substance for age, strong in body with level topline – held when on the move, well angulated quarters. Moved and handled well to BPiB, BoB & PG2  2^nd: Laffoley & Edwards’ Yeloffal Bit Of Rough. Same comments apply as 1^st but not as settled - preferred movement of 1^st.

Open Dog (1)  1^st: Marett’s Lastarean Kral Of Zidout. 7yrs. Masculine, in good coat and condition. Good length of head, strong jaw. Well developed muscular quarters, shoulder well laid, good spring of rib, silky coat. Moved confidently, handled well.

Kerry Blue Terrier Open Dog (1)  1^st: Walker’s (Jsy CH) Arkama Rockafella At Kebulak. Stunning dog, excels in quality & type – despite off-putting presentation.  Lovely head, well balanced, reachy neck, gun barrel front - excellent shoulders & front assembly, good bone, legs & feet, pleasing body, strong quarters. Correct angulations front and rear. Moved exceptionally soundly. A pleasure to go over. Handled expertly to BoB, G1 & BiS4.

West Highland White Terrier Puppy (1)  1^st: Pinto’s  Mckalay Jack In The Box. 9mth. Sturdily built boy with pleasing outline, strong head & correct skull, neat ears, dark eyes, strong jaw, loved his expression. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, deep ribbed body, strong well angulated hindquarters, correct tail & tailset. A lot to like about this youngster - very nice package, but unfortunately he refused to move. BPiB & PG3.

Glen Of Imaal Terrier Open Dog (1) 1^st: Smith’s Romainville Dodhran. 5yrs. Well structured dog in good coat and condition - a good illustration of substance for size. Grand head with strong muzzle. Good in front with nice bow & turn out at pasterns, nice overall length with pleasing body & strong quarters, enough rise to loin. Nicely proportioned & an eye-catching mover. Handled well to BoB & G4.

AV VETERAN (4,1)   1^st Marett’s Cesky Terrier Malsville Lincoln Ridley. 13yrs. Lovely grand old lady, fantastic condition for age. Still very sound, correct in all departments. Moved around the ring like she owned it – a great old lady.   2^nd: Fletcher & Seedhouse’s SBT Granitangel Hagler’s Pride. 12yrs. Fabulous tiger brindle dog. Sound make and shape, still has plenty of fire in his belly... alert and on his toes as a terrier should be! Moved sound and true.  3^rd: Marett’s Gayteckels Highflyer Pd'H
